Communicationwithout an audience.

FC21 is identity-minimized infrastructure for private conversations — no email, no phone number, no public people directory. Invite-only. Honest about platform limits.

Zero-PII

No email or phone to create an account.

02

Your devices

Key material stays on the endpoint.

03

Minimal metadata

Invite-only discovery — no public people directory.

The narrative

01

Hey.

Your conversations should belong to you. Only you.

02

But most conversations don't.

Messages. Metadata. Contacts. Devices. Patterns.

03

Privacy rarely disappears all at once.

It disappears one permission at a time — contacts, metadata, location, conversations, identity.

04

You got used to it.

You shouldn't have to.

PRIVACY-EROSION

One step at a time — not all at once

01

Contacts

Address-book access, friend matching, who-knows-whom graphs.

Connect

Relationships by @handle or usr_ ID — no address-book scraping, no friend matching.

ADR-0021

Groups

Project and team threads with an optional topic. Organizations are context, not a requirement.

ADR-0017

View-once

Covered messages until you choose to open them — a UX control, not screenshot protection.

ADR-0022

Recovery

High-entropy recovery credential (FC21-RCV-…), shown once. No email reset.

Architecture

Billing ≠ cryptography

FC21 keeps a hard line: a subscription answers “May this organization use the service?” Cryptography answers “Is this identity or message authentic and confidential?” That line is never blurred.

Human Factor

People remain the weakest link. Sharing a password or recovery credential, leaving a phone unlocked, shoulder surfing, and phishing sit outside what this product can stop. FC21 does not claim anonymity, and it does not claim network unlinkability (ADR-0015).
