About FC21

Foundational Communication

FC21 started from a simple observation: privacy in communication products rarely disappears all at once — it goes permission by permission, metadata field by metadata field.

The frog — framed carefully

The familiar boiling-frog thought experiment fits the FC21 narrative: people do not notice when contacts, location, metadata, and identity drain away piece by piece — until the habit feels normal.

FC21 does not use that story as shock marketing. It is an honest contrast: You shouldn't have to get used to it.

Same pacing as the iOS app (`FC21AuthLandingCopy`). These are the English lines the app shows.

Values

Not a social product

FC21 is organizational security infrastructure — no feed, no ads, no matching.

Honest language

We do not claim what we cannot prove. Platform knowledge is documented, not denied.

Sovereign deployment

Every major feature must be operable in sovereign deployment mode — for critical operations.

Crypto-agile

Architecture with a post-quantum design path — no quantum-proof marketing without a review.

Rebrand history

The project was formerly Aegis and was renamed FC21 after Crypto Design Review Candidate 0.1 was frozen. Historical Aegis artifacts remain for traceability. No external cryptographic review has been performed yet.
